HOW TO COLLAB WITH BRANDS

Today we will be talking about how to get collaborations and sponsorships on Instagram. You have probably seen a lot of influencers or bloggers or even some of your friends that you follow posting ads and collaborations with companies. And you're probably wondering how they get to that point. So we're going to tell you how to score your first collab and earn some money while doing that.


Before get started just a couple of things you set yourself up for success is the first thing is to post quality content. So just be posting things that are represented you , your personality, your style etc. Show people who you are by using quality content.


Also another great tip is to tag everyone. You don't have to be sponsored to be tagging brands, location and hashtags. Because in this way you get seen more. And brands also get notified when you tag them in your content.


Now that we have the basics, it's time for the real tips:

1. Professional email

Add an email or business email into your bio and if you're a blogger also add your website. So that when brand come to your page they can really quickly get your contact information to get a hold of you. Make yourself look professional (by using a professional email adres) so brands know exactly how to get a hold of you and know that you are the real deal.


2. Switch to a business account

Now that you have your email set up you are going to want to switch your account over to a business account. Because a lot of brand will ask for your analytics for collaborations and by switching up your account you get all these insights on the App.


3. Create a media package

Now you have your business account, you have your email so you're almost there. You are going to need to create a media kit, so you might start receiving some emails, but what do you send back to them? Creating a media kit is the best way to showcase brands what you have to offer them. Things that should be listed in your media kit can be: how much you charge per post, different packages and also your analytics, so they can see how many people you reach and what they can expect from you. When you receive an email from a brand you just attach that into PDF in which they can find all the information needed.


4. Communicate

Make sure you're a good communicator. Brands really appreciate it when you keep them in the know when they're sending out product to a ton of different influencers and you really want to stand out. Ā So right when you receive the package send them an email in which you tell them you received the package and when you're planning to post about it.

You can also send them a sample photo, before posting so they also feel included in the process of the end result. After posting it's also a good idea to send them a little follow-up email in which you thank them for the collaboration and if that you would love with them in the future again, which can result in an ongoing partnership. If you really want to impress them, you can send them the results of that post if it did well.
